    Man captured for endeavoring to sell his youngsters in Cross River

    The Police in Cross River State have captured, Edet Essien Inyang, 30 for endeavoring to sell his two youngsters due to hunger.

    Day by day POST assembled that Inyang took his two youngsters; a male and female to Murray Street where he looked for purchasers to empower him fund-raise for sustenance.

    The suspect, as indicated by our discoveries uncovered that the cash from the deals would spare him from the neediness he was experiencing.

    An observer, who gave his name as Clement Ekem stated, "He came here with the kids and asked after one rich man on this road and when he didn't see the man, we asked him, what he was looking, he said he was searching for somebody to purchase his two youngsters.


    "The man said the male tyke is N200, 000 and the female N150,000" Ekem said including that himself as well as other people were shocked by what the man said. They endeavored to prevent him from taking the kids to somewhere else for sell.

    "We needed to defer him while reaching the police at Atakpa Police Station which is close-by and the Police, promptly sent a group to capture suspect. He said he is from Akwa Ibom State yet lives in Usung Inyang which is in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State".

    At the Atakpa Police Station, a senior Police Officer, who declined giving his name affirmed the capture of the man saying the issue has been exchanged to the State Criminal Division at the Police Command home office for further examinations.
